The innocence of a Children’s Actions
Physical Description of Child
To begin, I observe a five-year-old preschooler. She is in Kindergarten, but this is not her first year of school she has been going to school since the age of three. She began at a daycare than to preschool and now she is in Kindergarten. Her name is Jennifer Dolores Munoz, her Birthday is on August 17 and she was born in the year of 2011. She is five years of age and sixty-three months years old. She weighs 46 pounds and is 56 inches tall. Jennifer’s eye color are hazel and her hair color is light brown. She is above average in both categories height and in weight. She weighs like an average six-year-old. The average weight level at age five is 39 pounds. She is really above average in height she is really tall for her age level. On average she 's supposed to be about 42 inches tall but she 's 56 inches tall. She does select her own clothing. The choices she selects of her clothing do not match. The way she was dressed was with a variety of colors. She had a yellow shirt and some …show more content…
As in right now she knows what she likes and knows that she’s a girl. She knows what type of things girls are supposed to like in this society. She is currently going through psychosocial development. Whereas she knows why her three-year-old cousin behaves more like a little kid. She knows kids act different depending on their age. Also, how she did not have her shoes while being inside and she knew while being outside she had to put on her shoes. Another example of identity development she is currently in is self-concept. She told her aunt she was a big girl and that she could put on her shoes by herself. She also is going through gender schema. Jennifer saw her cousins playing with trucks and she did not play with them because she knows that trucks are only for boys so she refuses to play with her
