Most important variations in the field of nursing have happened since the Affordable Health Care Act was passed on March 23rd, 2010(Feinberg, 2010). Through the teamwork of the IOM and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), the IOM report titled, “Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health,” was formed to support in applying these variations. The study will show the connection of the IOM and the RWJF on the Future of Nursing, the impact the IOM report will have on the nursing profession, the rationale for state-based coalitions and their objectives for the Campaign for Action and this paper will also discuss California’s Action Coalition. The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF)formed a creativity on the Future of Nursing
