Among all of the school related and community oriented activities I participate in the most significant are Soccer and the Fayetteville Youth Council. Soccer has had such a positive impact on my life. I started playing roughly 9 years ago. After my younger sister, Hailey finished a recreation season she received a trophy. Although it was only for participation, I was envious. My mother told me if I wanted one, I’d have to play the next season and earn it. Maybe a trophy was the reason it began but I fell in love with the sport and have stayed committed to it. I spend countless hours on the soccer field, practicing. Although sometimes, I miss going to football games, the movies with friends, and having sleepover parties, I realize it is all
