It was a cold and snowy winter, I was eight years old, my dad was outside on the hill snowboarding. (Descriptive adj.)I had always wanted to learn how to snowboard, so I put on all my coats that were thick and ran out to my dad.(restrictive clause) My dad said that he was having a hard time because the snow was so thick, and that we should go and get the ranger to compact the snow down so it would be easier. “This should be good enough”my dad said.(Demonstrative) Once we compacted all the snow down on the hill, we got out of the ranger, and my dad got the snowboard out of the snow.(adjective phrase) He strapped my feet in and said the best way to learn is by doing. If you need to stop really fast just try to bend down and sit on the ground.
