Fear is man’s greatest enemy, it can cause conspiracies, it can cause death, it can cause wars. Fear is a drug which will manipulate our hearts as said by writer, Val McDermid, “Sometimes fear is used as a way to control.” For me, a prime example of fear causing one to act is in the novel, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.
