Most countries are created by the people who live on the land, only one race consists in these countries; countries like Spain, Germany, Ireland, and many other countries all around our world. Yet in the 1400s an English explorer named Christopher Columbus. This land, discovered by the English and already inhabited by the Native Americans, was created into the country we have today. Yet, throughout the years of creating this country more then just natives and English, many foreign people raced across the Atlantic to be apart of the country, to experience freedom and equality that was a guarantee, no matter what your situation. Politics is the glue that keeps our country together; it determines the fate of our country and people. Economy and politics are very closely related and are a balance to each other, if it evens out, our country and its people would be at ease. Fate has not been too kind to our country in a while when it comes to economics. America is in a lot of debt to our own economy as well as other economies around the world. Our country is very quick to help others but it costs in many ways, financially and socially. With our economy down in the low numbers, it is very hard to keep or get a job in our day and age. The true Americans in this country fight for their meaning, by that I mean to get a job, a place in the country 's economy. They do not give up at their first rejection; they try again to find a place for their selves in the finical world. That determines how they live their life, and how Americans live their life determines how true of an American they truly are. The people who sign up for the unemployment list, voluntarily, are doing it for the free food stamps, and welfare checks, and it is just to have to easy way out and not having to worry about fighting for their existence financially. I was just required to remember it and put my right hand over my heart; now that I am older I understand what the pledge really means, the pledge is our devotion to the country and, our silent thank you to the troops. The troops who fight for our freedom, to reassure our safety in this country; they even go as far to help other countries create their own freedom; the American troops deserve all of the credit to our country, sure the politicians do a nice job, but the dedication to our country the troops provide is unbelievable, they are brave enough to die for the citizens of our country, the ones they don 't even know. Our pledge is our way to saying thank you for the all of the past, present, and future troops; it is also a thank you to the brilliant politicians, every now and then we get a politician that knows just how great certain laws or ideas can be for our country.
