Peyton Manning is the best quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He can almost see the play before it happens. Manning is very influential because he has the most passing yards in the NFL, is very dedicated, and is really smart. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and is the second of three sons of Archie Manning ( Academy of Achievement). Peyton was the top quarterback pick for high ranking college teams ( Academy of Achievement). He was expected to go the University of Mississippi, Ole Miss, but instead chose to go to the University of Tennessee( Academy of Achievement). Peyton was the number 1 overall pick in in 1998 NFL draft and he was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts and played there for 14 years( Academy of Achievement). Manning was then drafted by the Denver Broncos and played there till 2016 when he retired after winning Super Bowl 50 ( Academy of Achievement). Peyton Manning has the most passing yards in the NFL, is very dedicated, and very smart so he is said to be the best quarterback in the NFL; therefore, he is an inspiration to many people. …show more content…

He is a 14- time Pro Bowl selection, 7- time First- Team All- Pro, 5- time MVP, 2- time Offensive Player of the Year, Super Bowl XLI MVP, 2012 Comeback Player of the Year, 2005 Walter Payton Man of the Year ( Cbssports).
