Immigration has been a heated topic in the United States for many years, and it will most likely remain one for years to come. This topic is taken pretty serious among politicians and the citizens of the United States. Immigration was one of the biggest problems brought up in the 2016 election. Many people in the United States have differing views that is why it is such a tough topic to try and solve, because one thing you do may upset another group of people. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump had severely differing views in what they plan on doing with illegal immigration.

Donald Trump is first concerned for Americans losing their jobs to illegal aliens, his main priority is to keep American jobs occupied by Americans and not illegals. Trump would protect the legal immigrants working in the United States and make sure illegal immigrants do not end up taking the jobs from them. Trumps biggest plan in his immigration reform is to build a mighty impenetrable wall along the United States southern border between Texas and Mexico. The purpose of this wall is too keep the illegal immigrants that want to enter this country from doing so. He would also force Mexico to pay for it by taxing goods that they send through the United States. Donald Trump would also end the catch and release reform. Under Donald Trump we will detain any illegal alien in our country and keep them detained until we send them back to their country. He also plans on removing illegal aliens out of the country on his first day in office by working with federal and state officials, he will also terminate president Obama’s deadly non-enforcement policies. In Donald Trump’s eyes illegal immigrants are the reason this country is in the state it is right now, and he plans on doing something about it with drastic measures if he must. I agree with some of Donald Trump’s plans especially sending illegal aliens back to their country and force them to acquire their citizenship the right way. I also agree with him building the wall because the current “wall” that is up right now is doing absolutely nothing to stop the illegal aliens from gaining access to our country. To keep this country safe we need to strengthen our

In an interview, Donald John Trump, an American businessperson and a Republican candidate running for president, specified: “ The immigrants are bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, and they’re rapists. It’s coming from Mexico. It’s coming from the south and Latin America and it’s coming, probably, from the Middle East, but we don’t know because we have no protection.” As a result of the immigrants coming into America, Trump wants to create the immigration plan. If Trump’s plan is carried out, the Mexicans would be unauthorized to enter America because of the “great great wall,” possible recessions and riots would take place, and all illegal immigrants including the birthright citizens will be forced to leave America.…

Hillary Clinton is an advocate for a fair and just immigration system. She explains that instead of breaking up the law-abiding immigrant families who have enhanced America for years, we should be able to grant them a path to citizenship. Correspondingly, Clinton will continue to support the passing of a comprehensive immigration reform that provides a path to citizenship, treats every person with respect, maintains the rule of law, defends and protects our borders and national security, and most importantly to bring in millions of hardworking people into the economy. Additionally, she will support the parents of DREAMers and others who have contributed positively to their communities and hopefully allow them to be eligible for the same opportunities…

Trump believes that illegal immigration is destroying U.S. taxpayers, and he believes that neither Republicans nor Democrats are helping the situation. Republicans don’t do anything about illegal immigration because some of their business supporters want cheap labor. Democrats look at illegal immigrants as potential Democratic voters (135-136). Both Democrats and Republicans may have their reasons for illegal immigrants to stay, but Donald Trump thinks that the parties need to put America’s interests first and that illegal immigrants need to return from whence they came. Trump then continues to discuss that illegal immigrants are by definition, lawbreakers, and refers to them as “illegal aliens” due to the fact that illegal immigrants are often members or violent gangs.…

Immigration has been a major problem that has been happening in this country. Many people believe that if you were not born in the United States of America, you have no right to come here for a chance to live. There are many people that come from countries all over the world trying to find a better life even if it means coming here illegally. This mentality that people have is what has caused a lot of violence because people have actually gone to believe that they are making everything better by “getting rid of this problem”.…
