Everyone writes differently, and that is never a bad thing. The main idea behind Discourse Community Maps are to show how your writing gets shaped due to a particular community you belong to. I feel that I did in fact accomplish the purpose of this assignment. I learned that my writing is greatly shaped and influenced by the people that are around me. Knowing of this is useful because I can greatly adapt to certain topics or ideas that are thrown at me in the future. A great example of where this knowledge can be useful for would be when I am giving a certain topic to write and express myself on. I would know exactly who I am writing to, for, and about. This assignment given to me had certain procedures to follow, and I feel I did a great job
