The Influence Of De Vaca On The Narvaez Expedition

De Vaca was one of the four survivors on the Narvaez expedition. That expedition landed in Florida. He was in Florida the year 1528. The crew was hit by storms and rough waters and so most of them did not make it to Florida.They ran out of food. The captain did not make it either. He and the crew were attacked by the apalachee indians. He killed some of the natives.

When De vaca and the crew made it to land they went through some woods. There they met some unfriendly people. The people attacked them. De vaca and three other people were the only ones that survived the attack. They later lost each other. De vaca got a ride home when a spanish explorer came and got him.

He did have to kill some native americans because they attacked

    The museum that I chose to go was to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, which was holding an exhibition that was dedicated to Pablo Picasso and Diego Rivera, Picasso and Rivera: Conversations Across Time. The piece that stood out to me the most was Pre-Columbian America by Diego Rivera that features indigenous imagery and creates an alternative view of America.
