Hi my names La-ah and I’m 27 years old. I first became homeless at the age of 17, which was 10 years ago. Of what I remember, before becoming homeless, my life wasn’t bad. I had a bed, a home and got most things I wanted on top of the things I needed. At the age of 15, I had a boyfriend that cheated on me and also mentally and physically abused me. After I found out he cheated on me, I started injecting Herrorn into myself. He was my life. Without him my world wouldn’t turn the same. It gave me the feeling of happiness again. It made me feel alive. After a year of daily injections, I started drinking every night. So on top of injecting daily, I’d get blinded every night. My parents never kicked me out, I left.
