The Influence Of Attitude In 12 Angry Men

Throughout the day we meet a number of different people. Sometimes we stay and have brief conservation with them, but more often then not we usually say hi and bye. When we meet these individuals that we are able to spend a little more time with, they tend to leave an impression on us. Most of the time we don’t even notice that they are even doing it. This is the power that one person can have on another. As depicted in the movie 12 Angry Men, we realize the influence individuals have on each other. Twelve men each with their own unique attitudes and behaviors were able to be persuaded by the other through different methods. Attitudes are instrumental in the development of someone’s outlook of the world. We all have different opinions towards a specific someone or something. These opinions are created by our attitude. Attitudes are the ways in which people think or feel towards someone or something. They can be positive or negative and develop over a period of time usually through observation and experience. In everyday life, our interactions with others can significantly influence a person’s outlook of the world. Through listening to others and watching how they react to certain people and situations we learn how we should act towards similar people and situations as well. Sometimes the influence can more direct. A person can persuade another to change their attitude and behavior about a certain person, issue, topic, etc. As portrayed in the movie 12 Angry Men we realize how we all have or own attitudes and behavior and that they can be altered by others.
