Though there would be hundreds of pillars to my building of life, there are four that I consider the most influencing; my passion to create change, my dreams to succeed, my need to be part of something, and wanting to experience everything I can.

I’ve always been fixated on a book, movie, musical, or TV show, whether it is Hamilton or Sherlock. I’ve never been able to figure out why I do that until recently; it’s because I like being able to be a part of something bigger than I am. Through these “fandoms” I’ve engaged in, I’ve made friends from all over the world and have found people that I can cry, laugh, and celebrate with. Having that makes me feel like I finally fit in.
My last pillar of life is a calling to be where I’m not. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a bucket list or wasn’t dreaming of some far-off place. This wanderlust might have been born because I have grown up in such a small town, with limited diversity and opportunities. I want to explore the world and see and experience things I never have before. Whenever I travel I feel a euphoria and amazement from the new things I get to see and explore. I hope that moving to a bigger city soon will give me those opportunities more often.
