The Independent American Party was founded on May 16, in 1998 and was inspired by a speech spoken by Ezra T. Benson. The Independent American Party or IAP for short, believe that the constitution was written by men that god spoke to. They want state governments to have more power than the federal government. Examples may be power over the states natural resources and education. National Parks can only be approved by the state not the president and they can chose what they want to teacher in schools. They want to remove the military from any foreign aid groups and not join any other international agreements.
