The Inca had such strong architecture it’s still standing today. The building were simple buildings made of stone. There terrain was uneven so, they had to work with the landscape,“Perhaps the most famous example of this is Machu Picchu, which follows the contours of the hillside and even incorporates natural features such as large rocks into the actual buildings.” They’re on a plate boundary, so they were in an earthquake prone zone and the building still stood. The strong architecture of the Inca was amazing and innovative.
