People tend to want to live in both safe and stable places. They also look for places that satisfy their basic needs. There have been many civilizations throughout history, but only a few would people want to live in. The Incas are a South American civilization which extends along the Pacific coast and Andean highlands. The Incas are a powerful civilization, which people should move to because of its ideal location, ample food supply, and strong central government. The location of the Inca civilization is isolated, which makes it ideal. They live high up in the Andes Mountains, thus being hard to attack and safe. Their location in the past made it hard to communicate, but the Incas built bridges to connect the Empire to solve this problem. The weather is mild most of the year making it dependable, excellent for farming and most of all, for everyday living. The location gives the civilization many advantages, that other civilization do not have. …show more content…
In the empire no one goes hungry, they don’t eat much meat, but everyone has enough to eat. The Incas invented terrace farming which they use with irrigation systems to grow their crops. They grow many crops, but their staple foods are potatoes, corn, and quinoa. In fact, they grow so much food that there is always more than they need. They store surplus food in special buildings, in case there is drought. The Incas are great farmers making another reason for people to move to this civilization.
The Incas have a very strong central government, which makes the civilization stable. Given the harshness and severity of punishments for violating laws there is almost no crime. The government cares for the sick and old, also everyone has job. The Sapa Inca owns everything, but everyone has their share in land and food even if it is his. The government may be a little controlling but it makes the Inca civilization a place to
