Important factors that will decide your success Your likeness to God. Your likeness to God determines what God can do for you. What is this likeness? It is to be like Him in His state of existence. God is holy and those who want to live with Him must also be holy. We must have the spiritual nature of God so that we attract His unlimited power over our lives. It is for this reason that we have been saved through the cross of Calvary. When we were saved through the blood of the Lamb, we received the spiritual nature of God. The Holy Spirit was released to come and dwell with us. We are still in our human bodies, but we have been given the Spirit of God so that He may influence our souls to act like God. We need the presence of the Holy Spirit to reset our default setting. The default setting of man is the existence of man in three constituent parts, the body, soul and Spirit. The blood of Jesus is the only blood that is able to restore our original default settings. The Spirit of God who is in us has come to help us to think and act like God. We need to be like Jesus, who even though He was in a human body was able to please God. His human nature did not make Him disobedient to God. The indwelling Spirit of God dominated His human nature. Likewise, we need to allow the spirit of God who dwells in us dominate our human nature. The indwelling Spirit of God must triumph over our human nature. We must be able to think and act like God despite living in our human bodies. The more we are like Jesus, the more we would be able to walk in his victory. All the treasures of God belong to His son Jesus. We are also the sons of God through Jesus and this makes us co-heirs of heaven with Jesus. All that our Father has in heaven belongs to us, but we cannot have access to the treasures and power of God if the nature of God is not dominant in our
