It’s also important because it allows all children and young people to fully participate in society as it put them at the centre and helps us to see what they feel is important and that their wishes should be taken into account.
If a person centred approach is not promoted then there could be some major consequences such as a child suffering for an unnecessary reason which could result in the child or young person having confident or low self esteem issues in the future.
