They used the Quantitative method by using regression analysis. While the qualitative method, was used for gathering information on teachers and their implement of the CCSS in their classrooms. In this study, they looked at 9 schools in total. Six of the schools they researched were scholars that performed higher than expected on the CCSS ELA assessments in 2012-2013 and three were schools who had results that were expected. The researchers collected data by observing, interviewing and looking at their documentary data from all of the schools that were involved in this research. These documents were examples of instructional support and the written rubrics of the teachers. The rubrics included field notes, sum-ups of exercises and what the teacher’s thoughts and their reflection of the lesson after it had happened. They even looked at the teacher’s lesson plans and the way his/her classroom looked. This study took place in Turkey. Creative writing is viewed as a process that helps students develop their personalities, imagination; self- esteem, and interpretation skills. Creative writing is also a great way to express how you are feeling which also helps with psychological relief. It’s a great way for people to express themselves when they are depressed and not keep everything bottled up. It is easier for students to write down what they are thinking and feeling when they are not worrying about the teacher criticizing or arbitrating his/her writing. They don’t want students to worry about the format that they are writing in. Instead they are more concerned with their students being able to express themselves freely without the difficulty of what they should be putting in which paragraph. This is a qualitative study. This study was conducted to see how teachers in the 4th and 5th grade view the creative writing procedure. What the teachers know about creative writing and their experience with creative writing. So to conduct this study, they asked teachers 7 open ended questions about the creative writing process. The teachers who were participating in the study also had to fill out questions that will help give the researchers enough information about each
