Established in 2002, this program partners with other agencies to provide healthcare services to a demanding population. Their current workforce development program has 4 pillars to include: 1. Professional development, 2. Academic achievement, 3. Customized skill development/enhancement and 4. Career counseling. For professional development, Trinity Health Center offers training programs for all allied health and nursing occupations, making sure that there are enough providers per patient. The academic achievement pillar focuses on developing skills in basic courses such as reading, math, writing and understanding technology. Trinity Health Center offers skill development courses for both new and current employees to improve their delivery of services. Lastly, this organization offers various support services to include career counseling, skill assessments, and tutoring to ensure the retention of their employees and their successful completion of courses and programs. Referring to Trinity Health Centers’ workforce development program, employees must be eligible to complete certain courses before advancing through the program. Eligibility is determined by taking exams to assess their literacy levels and current skills. This alone can be a daunting experience for employees as some may feel uncomfortable or suffer from test anxiety. It is recommended for this organization to follow four tactics to stimulate motivation to endure such uncomfortable experiences thus making them
