I feel like the importance and emphasis on work, study and family life are different for every individual in my country, as the USA is so diverse. Work ethic has a lot to do with how a person was raised and the ambition they have in life. In the US there are people living off the government and receiving benefits because they are too lazy to get out and look for a job. Due to the loop wholes and lack of staffing in the governmental programs these people continue to get away with living on the working man 's dollar. We work together to raise our family, however currently he plays a larger role in that aspect, because I work from 9-5 and don 't get home until 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. The only pushback that I receive comes from my "husband" who was there when I put myself through school to become a medical assistant and was a full time student, but wasn 't around when I graduated high school and had the ambitions to go to school for graphic design. He sees this as a crazy career change and feels like, if I 'm doing so great in the medical field why would I want to change careers all of a sudden? The answer is because currently going back to school to become an RN is unobtainable while trying to support a family of five and this is what I 've always wanted to do. I would love to mesh the two together and do something with the knowledge I obtain here at UoPeople and the knowledge and skills I have in the medical
