This is problematic, as it doesn’t allow women to have a say in what they want to do. They cannot stand up for themselves and stop this terrible crime that is happening to their gender. With the lack of women’s rights in these countries it also doesn’t allow women to be educated, which is a reason for why they believe they cannot stand up to men. They have always been taught to follow the demands of males. They don’t have exposure to gender equality and feel that it is their duty to follow orders from males. Culture is not based on a place it is based on people’s beliefs. People can carry their own beliefs/culture to anywhere in the world.
