3.1.2 Witnessing and Outreach
Time is needed for us to witness and take part in Outreaches. The Almighty is interested in the Great commission. Mathew 28: 18 – 20 says
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
According to this scripture Jesus give us the mandate to win souls into The Kingdom and depopulate the kingdom of darkness. Verse 18, the …show more content…
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16: 15 shows that the great commission does not exclude any race, above shared testimony is very encouraging, despite the fact that government of the land had planned to deport this man of God, the lord made it even easier by ensuring that Members of the parliament became members of his church in a society where blacks are not regarded, they referred to him as a ‘chocolate Rabbit’ , sacrifice of wanting to be involved in outreach , Planting a church, The Almighty used the lawmakers to ensure that the man of God was given the resident permit for the furtherance of the Gospel in that communist nation.
The Outreach could be branded, ‘Let’s Go a fishing’, ‘Easter Retreat’ etc., we need to ensure that it stops from been a jamboree, the essence is to multiply , how many souls have we won?, this should bother us. When there is such a programme and new churches cannot be established, we need to seek the face of the Lord and seek for forgiveness, this is
