There are numerous people who have shaped me into who I am today. My family plays a significant chunk in my life, and I do not take them for granted. Every moment I spend with them, I cherish. They have impacted my life in the uttermost positive way. Not only family, but friends have helped me throughout my life too. I couldn’t be more thankful for all of them. My father fills my life with loads of joy; from him, I draw my sense of humor and love for music. If my dad did not raise me, I would have lived a dull life. He shows me the way to music, and how music guides through the toughest of times. He gets me to share the passion of guitar with him. As a young girl, my father played “Twist and Shout” by The Beatles on guitar; I danced all around around the living room until I collapsed. Friends come and go, but I have kept a few by learning what real friends are. Real friends rely on each other to not lie to one another, or show rudeness towards each other. My friends now are always there for me; I will cherish them forever. I can tell them whatever is on my mind, and they will listen to what I have to say; they aid me through troublesome times. They are a true gift to me, and they know i 'm always there for them too. I recently have gained on other best friend this past year who has been a beam of light in my life. Although people in the past have shaped me into who I am today, one current person in my life has taught me far more crucial information. My boyfriend, Jon, has taught me how to love myself. I struggled with this for a long time, and he finally opened my eyes; I know now that I don 't need to impress anyone of my appearance. This sounds silly, but I could not grasp onto the fact that it 's okay for me to be pleased with myself. I admit I still struggle to this day, but he shows me my real beauty on the inside and
