I really dislike the idea of walking my dog alone in my neighborhood, simply because he does not like other dogs and nearly all of my neighbors own dogs. Although I have done it before, the whole time over and over in my head I am pleading, please don 't let any dogs come to the gate, please. PHEW! We made it! I said this once we approached the last two houses on the street before mine, but I had spoken too soon. As soon as we passed the old run down house beside mine a cute little fluffy mutt came from out of the gate and his life flashed before my eyes. My dog 's leash flew out of my hands before I could even realize it. I just knew the fluffy dog was a goner, but to my surprise my dog just went over to give the little guy a sniff. Luckily

Not only are they in two separate parts of the house but we also have wooden doggy gates at each ends of the hallways. We accidentally left my dog out one day the same time we let my ferrets out. Peanut, my dog, was laying down and did not even notice them at first until one of them started hissing, (yes they hiss.) As soon as that happened, Peanut popped up out of his sleep like someone had just tried to sneak attack him and jumped straight over the doggy gate. PEANUT NOOOO! I screamed as I nearly broke my neck trying to get out of the lounge chair to save my ferrets life. By this time they had made their way under my bed all the way into the back corner where my dog could not reach …show more content…
They must be bathed regularly, feed and taken to the vet. All things that soon add up to be very expensive. My pets vet visit are at least a few hundred very time we go and they are never fun. My dog cannot even go inside the vet because he is banned. Therefore, the vet must come outside to our car to give my dog his checkup. My ferrets can be a handful at the vet as well; having to pin down a squirmy little ferret on an operation table is actually very challenging. Food if is what will break your pockets the most. I actually think my animals eat more food than me! Bath time is oh so lovely. Who does not love getting clawed up and shocked wet will washing their
