Well if it was your fault you would get hit with a fine. For the first offense of a higher rate it would be $100, $200 for a second, and $500 for a third. This shows why you should have common sense and not break the law. They might say that it is just common sense and people should just understand. This is very close to what I was saying but they do not think it should be a illegal to walk and text. Some might say that if someone gets hurt, then, they will learn their lesson and not do it again. This is not true, because they may do it more then once and constantly pay or get terribly injured. You can use this money for so many things that you might actually need, like groceries or clothes. But now people only do the right thing if the wrong thing becomes a law.
