Voting in the United States shouldn't be a chore, not everyone in the world has a right to an opinion when it comes to their government. When you turn eighteen it is your civil responsibility to register to vote. On the issue of age, I stand with the current laws. However, to have an educated opinion about a controversial topic I feel that you need to at least understand both sides of the argument, which I do. I know everyone is in a hurry to grow up, but there isn't a logical reason to lower the voting age. Children that are sixteen years old are just that; Children.
