Would you like to tell us a little bit about your background? What did you do before volunteering?
I worked at Dinning’s Dairy as a ‘jack of all trades’, before that I worked as a Benson & Hedges Sales Rep.
Why volunteer at NHW?
I wanted to give something back to the community, friends had spoken very well of volunteering at NHW.
What’s your favourite thing about your role in the Parkinson’s Group?
Simply… just helping wherever I can – being able to support ‘the group’.
What makes you laugh the most?
The physio Anna! (Pasquali) and Erica (client) they are always lifting the mood.
If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?
Spend time with my grandchildren who are 3 years and 18 months. So much fun to be around.
