Why Do Minor Commit Violent Crimes

Ever since we were kids we were taught the difference from right and wrong. We were taught of consequences and the ability to make choices; choices that will either lead to a better future or to a future of despair. There are many situations in life that could lead someone to commit a violent crime. The important question in trying a child as an adult would be: Was this crime your only choice? Children under the age of adulthood that commit violent crimes, such as taking someone else’s life should be evaluated and researched with a fine comb. What is an adult crime? Violent crime includes murder, rape and sexual assault, robbery, and assault. What drives a minor to commit a criminal act, is very important to evaluate. A minor that commits murder, who plans the execution of another human being should have a cause. This cause needs to be determined as to was this act voluntarily of self-defense. The reason that it is hard to actually evaluate the reasons why these acts are being performed by minors is how often they are actually taking place. A crime can be committed by a minor on a daily basis. Furthermore, it makes it becomes almost difficult, very challenging for the authorities to take the time and find out what actually happened. Many children find themselves living unescapable situations. Some are taken from their homes, school yards or malls and captured to be raped and tortured for years. A situation as this would not be practical to be tried as an adult; if the individual saw no escape but to commit a violent crime. Many minors are surrounded their entire life of violence, sexual abuse and abandoned at early ages. Parents addicted to drugs often leave children locked at home without any food. They usually receive no medical attention no teaching. They grow up not knowing about consequences just how to
