The air is filled with disgust. The kind of disgust that stays with us and follows us throughout the years. Many Americans can’t comprehend it, while others just don’t want to admit it. Most Americans arena denial or scared to acknowledge that fact that the country that is supposed to be the free, is this brutal. To get straight to the point, America urges the need to constantly be a part of violence that lowers us as a nation. In 2012, a group was created after the death of Trayvon Martin. They are being stripped of their basic human rights and dignity because of the color of their skin. Black lives matters have been involved in many protests that help other people in the society realize that there shouldn 't be a world with black racism. This organization has been started all over the country and is a movement where people gather around and rally for the rights for black lives. The deaths of black lives by law enforcement due to racial profiling, police brutality, and racial inequality in the United States justice system is not acceptable. Black lives matter is trying to get a point across the world, that black lives really matter and not only to law enforcement, but also blacks within the black community. The actions of the black lives matter make the society feel the pain they have gone though. One of the ways they attempt to do this is how they have weaponized protests. For example, the black lives matter activists shut down the Magnificent Mile on Black Friday, one of the busiest travel days of the year. It resembles the times when Martin Luther King fought the nation to help unite blacks and white as a whole. Even though the black lives matter organization is only focusing on black lives, they still have the right to fight for what they believe is right. Black lives matter is all over social media and is still developing. Even though some are in the category of “me”, others are in the “not-me” category. The protests will go on until the matter is solved. More and more individuals will join the protest and it will become well known throughout.
