Conducing the analysis, I have discovered that everyone including myself sees me differently. A persons point of view is going to be different on their public self, private self, and their ideal self. Mostly everyone wishes they could be different or like someone they know, also what someone does in their spare time they might not do in public which starts your focus on your private and public self. Someone’s private self is how they are when they’re alone. When I’m alone it gives me time to be more antisocial and more distant towards others. After a long day of work or school I need alone time, not because I want to be antisocial or distant towards my friends and family when I’m with them but because …show more content…

Over the years, I have learned that it’s okay to let go of little things you can’t change in life and become a better person from it. My personality is something that I can’t change about me. Going through life with a good head your shoulders and knowing you’re okay with yourself and who you are can make a difference in your self-confidence. Seeing people smile and laugh makes me a happier person. Me as a person will do anything and everything I can for someone in need. My parents raised me to always be nice to others but never let anyone run over me. Even though I can sometimes come off a little harsh, I mean well. I’m very outgoing but as the years go by I know when to be loud and funny and when not to be. There’s always a time and place for everything. I also try to be as honest and polite as I can, using manners is an importance to me. You must treat others as you want to be treated is what I have also realized. Seeing people, animals, or just valuable things get mistreated it upsets me. I try to be as tough as I can in some situations but I let my heart get to me a lot. I have the mind set of changing the world, it may not be in a big way but small things can take a great tole on someone. A lot of people think I’m a nice person but I have a very short temper or that I’m very indecisive. I agree with all of these things, but sometimes my temper can get the best of me just like me being to nice can. I can let anyone control me, I always put others in front of myself. Its hard when I don’t want anyone to run over me at the same time. I just want everyone to be happy then I can give myself time to be happy. At the same time if I don’t care about something or I just feel like there is no need in me to interfere, I get really indecisive if I should step

Everybody goes through a stage in their life where they want to be independent. In Joyce Carol Oates “Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been?” the main character Connie shows many signs of wanting to just grow up and move on to the next stage in her life. I relate to the story through the character Connie, as she represents and gives off different themes that contribute to the bigger picture of the story that I find myself relating to, such as a desire to grow up and having two different personas that showcase an internal confusion of who I am. Increasingly throughout the last couple of years in my life, I have found myself having a growing fire within me that is pushing me to want to become more independent and act more as a grown up.…

I was asked to sing the national anthem at the first home volleyball game, but I had no idea what this would lead up to. Sure, I had been asked to sing at other events, but I hardly ever went through with it and when I did there was never as many people as there was at this game. Being a freshman is hard enough at high school and when you throw in a singing freshman, it is even harder.…

“There is a voice inside of you that whispers all day long, “I feel this is right for me, I know that this is wrong.” No teacher, preacher, parent, friend or wise man can decide what’s right for you–just listen to the voice that speaks inside.” ~ Shel Silverstein From a very young age we are taught to conform; we are taught to be more like others and less like ourselves. And the beautiful thing about spending time alone with yourself is that you will free yourself from all these mind traps, beliefs and limitations about you having to be like everybody else. And you will find within you the strength and courage to embrace and become who you truly are and not who the world thinks you should be.…
