Now, if you don’t have a reason to eat right, if you’re simply eating healthy because someone requested it, or simply because you think you should, you’re depriving yourself of foods you love and every day will be more difficult and torturous, leading to failure. It’s vital that you’re doing this for the right reasons, and that along the way you create new and healthy versions of the food you love, using fruits and vegetables. “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” is a famous quote we all know, and it happens to be true. When you awake in the morning, start the day off right with a fulfilling breakfast with protein and vitamins. Have a large breakfast, a medium lunch, and a small dinner, with a piece of fruit or vegetable for a snack in between, and you’re looking at a healthy eating habit. Make it a challenge to incorporate fruits and vegetables into every meal, and drink a glass of water before each meal to help fill you up and help digest what you eat.
