Benefit Of Animal Testing

Well, the main point when utilizing animals in any experimentation is determining the harm or the suffering the animals might incur. This is to say, one should try by all means to estimate or weigh the suffering the animals might get. So, by so saying, there have to be some conditions in using the animals in any experimentation like, if it is agreed that animals can be used in experimentations, then strictly their (animals) suffering should be minimized. Then it would reach or be preferable for animals to be utilized in experimentations.
One other point is the matter of harm versus benefit. Well, if there are precious benefits or products obtained from the experimentation of the animals, then, they can be utilized in experiments. Just like

About Refinement, this is the use of very pure or not dangerous techniques in experimentation of the animals. Utilizing harmful techniques in animal experimentation on the other hand is being cruel, showing some lack of merciful to the animals and being inhuman, still bearing in mind that they too they are still the living creatures. For example, if animals are used in military combat training, these courses are extremely harmful to the animals as stated earlier that the U.S kills numerous animals in these courses.
On the other hand, if very light techniques in experimenting the animals are used, like in cosmetic testing, that would be ethical to the greatest extent because there is less harm to the animals. An example relating to light techniques used in experimenting the animals is in cosmetics, this is whereby chemicals are rubbed onto the animals’ skin or they can be dropped in their eyes and this is done without any pain at

As men are superior over the animals, it is a firm rule for men to utilize anything around him when in need. An example is when a man is extremely sick, they would try by all means to use anything near him to be cured, and if he or she finds something of which they are not sure of, they can test it to animals first as they have common characteristics like I have said earlier. They are bind by the rules to do so; they cannot test to the other person. Again, it is really of good extent considering or based on virtue. For example; if a certain experiment on animals is beneficial to a certain person then that would be ethical. This is to say, if that experimentation seems good to an individual, then he or she can continue with the experimentations on

Animals suffering is a reason of why I disfavour the use of animals in experimentation. The level of intelligence of an animal does not give a right to cause an animal any pain. Nevertheless scientists argue that animal experimentation helps towards a cure for Alzheimer’s or a vaccine against malaria. Yet, if anyone were to witness the continued use of higher primates such as chimps in a research lab environment, the animals would show signs clear signs of discomfort and suffering. The level of intelligence does not measure the control humans have over an animal, which leads to at what point of primates does it become…

For most people there are two scenarios that come to mind when they hear animal testing. The first scenario is that scientist are torturing, neglecting and abusing the animals that are being tested on. The other scenario is that scientist are being ethical, take care of the animals and are creating life-saving medicines. This makes the use of animals in experiments a controversial topic; a topic that isn’t quite black and white when argued. There are different types of animal testing like, medical testing and cosmetic testing; one is more ethical than the other.…

Animal Testing The issue of animal testing has been a topic for heated discussions for the recent years. It is necessary to point out that humans and animals have significant biological similarities which make it possible for the scientists to predict human's reaction to certain chemicals, cosmetics, and medicine . There are three major areas of animal testing including biomedical research, animals test using, and the cost of animal testing The first major area of animal testing is biomedical research. Utilizing living animal for the benefit of researcher and for the testing many types of products has been a matter of heated debate for for many of years now. Many people consider animals as pets or companions; whereas others look upon animals as only aids for researchers to study on. Despite peoples feeling towards animals, the reality is that animals across the country and around the world animals are being abused by cosmetics companies and research facilities. Even though humans sometimes benefit from successful animal testing, the pain, the torment, and deaths of the animals are not worth the potential benefits it may bring to humans. However, With all the new advancements in medical and scientific technology, the pain and suffering of…

Thus, avoiding the truth that animals can feel just as much pain as humans. Animals used in these experiments do not have the cognitive ability to state how they feel, and give verbal consent for the experiment. This causes the suffering of animals and can put their lives in extreme danger. Many on the opposite side of the fight, use the point it is better to use an animal than a human, but what if the roles were switched? This is where the test of morality is really touched upon.…

Animals are used for experimenting because they have many similarities with the human population. For example, humans and animal have similar organ and skin systems. Because of the similar systems animals are more likely to react to a product just as any human would. Thus, humans find it necessary to test on a population that is less costly to them out of desperation, which is hardly a justifiable excuse at all.…

Animal Experimentation Animal experimentation has been around for many centuries. Humans perform these experiments on all species of animals to find different effect of a product it could have on a human. Three advantages in particular advantages are, it helps scientists gain a better understanding for cures of different diseases, this practice makes a vital advance in medicine, and for the expense of treatments and cures animals should not have rights when it comes to research. Although there are many advantages to animal experimentation, there are also disadvantages which include, there is no benefit for the humans, it is cruel, and is dangerous for humans to be treated only after a trial on animals. The first advantage to animal experimentation is using animals like rats can help the scientist gain better knowledge for different…

Although animal experimentation has provided many benefits, there are alternatives to test toxic substances that may eliminate the cruel use of animals in research. The United States, along with many other countries, have turned to the use of animals in research labs to test human products for hazardous substances. According to the Kennedy Institute of Ethics Journal, the United States uses about 12 million animals every year making it the biggest conductor of animal experimentation in the world. Scientists and many companies believe that testing their products on animals save humans from being harmed if the product is toxic. However, no matter what the benefits of animal experimentation are, the tests conducted on the animals are cruel.…

The animals that are experimented on are mostly mammals as well. This means that animals such as dogs, cats, and other mammals are also infected everyday with the same diseases that affect us humans. What I mean is that since our anatomy is very similar to that of other animals, the medicine we create from animal testing can also benefit the animals themselves. So in reality, the benefits of animal experimentation actually far outweigh the consequences because it helps us, and it also helps the animals in the long run because we can treat them as well. It is proven that many veterinary medicines are the same as the medicine we receive from our doctors.…
