John F Kennedy said “My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”. This quote has stayed in my mind since my father told me it years ago. Our veterans asked what they could do for their country. Not only have they answered the call, but they gave the ultimate sacrifice to provide America the rare gift of freedom.
Many people don’t fully understand freedom, and it would be a proposterous lie to say I do. But, what I do know is that people take the smallest things for granted. For example, many students see this paper is just another burden given by teachers, but many children dream of a freedom like this. I am honored to be able to write this paper, for this is a tribute to America’s veterans,
