Everywhere, I saw children in my age with their grandfather, grandmother, or one of their parents while I was alone. I kept wondering “why that happens to me? Is there any problem? Where are my grandfather and grandmother?” I have asked myself these questions when my friends showed me the gifts they had from their grandparents. Dad did not tell me anything about his parents. So, I was passionate to know anything about them.
In the following week, I decided to travel through time using the time machine. So, I traveled to the past to see who my parents were, and how they looked like. I traveled forty years ago when my father had not been born yet.

My grandparents worked hard to enroll their son in school. My grandfather was happy to spend more hours at work to save an additional amount of money to pay school fees.
I showed and heard a conversation between my grandfather and dad after his graduating from high school. “You have done a great job!” my grandfather told my dad, “I think it is the proper time to help your dad in his work, is not it?”.
My dad replied, “I do not think so, dad!”.
“Why?”
“I want to complete my study abroad and make you proud of me. I think my future will change into better if I have a good education. So, give me a chance, please!” I saw the insistence on my father face when he said that.
Grandpa was sad because he could not afford the fees of the study abroad. However, my grandmother said, “I will sell my jewelry to pay traveling fees. I want to see my son achieving his dream.” Then, my grandmother embraced my father in her bosom and kissed him.
Again, I had to travel through time, but this time, I traveled to Paris, where dad was studying. I saw that dad sent a letter to his father and requested a sum of money, every week. My grandparents sent him the money although they did not gain much money.
