Transportation is more about than just moving from point A to point B. It is also a system which can limit or expand opportunities available to people based on where they live. America, in spite of being rich and powerful country, often seems falling apart for public transportation. It’s a nation with the huge highways and high dependence on the cars due to the shortage of alternative forms of transportation. The country is spending more on building the airports but has inadequate rail infrastructure. Crowding of the airports with short distance travelers has led to long waiting hours on airports. To be certain, aging and insufficient transport infrastructure are an issue for Americans up and down on the economic ladder. The solution of this massive problem is that we need more high-speed railways to run between inter-cities and states. Railways are one of the most reliable sources of transportation. The high-speed Euro rail and Japan rail system are one of the best examples to look up to.
