What Twitter does is they use Hashtag (#) to interact with the audiences who are sitting in front of the television. Television used to be a one way of medium, unlike other social media nowadays, you can interact, talk and even knows what others are doing. Television program nowadays especially on live sport competition, the Hashtag function on Twitter is often used. What they do is the live program ask the audiences to login to Twitter and Hashtag what they told to Hashtag for example, #Ateamwin or Bteamwin; then the live program collect the data and show up a statistical results that which team the audiences thought would win the most. What Facebook now doing is so different from Twitter, the relationship between Facebook and television is based on “page”. It means that the television program opens a Facebook page and interact with the audiences in it. For example, the Cookie Monster’s Facebook page has 8.7 million fans. The best way to educate children or kids effectively through television is to get parents sit down and watch the program with them as well. Since parents are not always free when the kids program is playing through television, the best way of co-viewing is through other electronic devices and watch it anytime, and anywhere.
