I am very religious so from seeing it from a Christian view point the Bible states in Proverbs 18:22 “He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord”. Which means God’s plan is for one woman and one man to be married and become one flesh in otherwise the man will seek to find his wife not the wife will go out searching to find her ideal man. Those who believe otherwise have conformed to the newly accepted norms in society. A woman proposing to a man isn’t despairing I just don’t think it’s healthy for a relationship, especially when we all know men fear commitment. If a man wants to marry you then he will propose and take the necessary steps to make that happen when he feels comfortable. If he hasn’t then either he is not ready. As women we tend to force the idea of marriage on men. For example, most women know whether a man is ready for marriage or not but deep down inside, but we choose to ignore it for many different reasons.
