Very few restaurants in Georgia prepare traditional Mexican dishes but they claim they are authentic Mexican restaurants. A place like Taco Bell promises to give consumers amazing Mexican food but instead serves mediocre American style Mexican dishes. Places like this not only serve untraditional food but also make consumers lose out on a chance to experience eating at an authentic Mexican restaurant. Authentic Mexican Restaurants like La Pastorcita not only offer traditional Mexican dishes but also make consumers feel like they are at a restaurant in Mexico. They do this by having Mexican decorations and Spanish menus which makes the experience feel even more authentic. La Pastorcita is a more authentic restaurant than Taco Bell because it …show more content…
Since Taco Bell is one of the most nationally known Mexican fast food restaurants many consumers would expect them to serve traditional Mexican food. At Taco Bell they serve dishes that are technically Mexican dishes like the burrito but they are not taking the time to prepare the dishes properly and with the correct recipes. This causes the dishes to not taste authentic or traditional as any other traditional Mexican restaurants dishes. An example is how at Taco Bell they serve burritos with nacho sauce and not the traditional salsas or guacamole that real Mexican burritos would contain. Essentially at Taco Bell they take the concept of Mexican dishes and they put an American spin on it to make it easier to make and cheaper since it is a fast food restaurant. Another reason the food at Taco Bell isn’t as traditional as the food at La Pastorcita is because Taco Bell is a fast food restaurant they have to get food out very quickly so they aren’t really taking the time to properly cook certain foods. For example, at Taco Bell they offer a grilled chicken burrito but since they don’t have the time to cook fresh grilled chicken they must serve premade burritos that are just reheated for consumers. This causes their food to taste untraditional because the food isn’t being cooked the way the food needs to be

The hoagie style chicken sandwich may appeal to a person who normally would go to a competing restaurant such as subway. By placing the traditional Burger King style chicken on the sandwich it enables Burger King to maintain its style while still competing with other fast-food chains all while appealing to a larger range of consumers. Showing their app on the front page is also a plus too. This can appeal to a tech savvy consumer. When you have fast-food chains like McDonald’s that offer coupons via their app one may appreciate that another company is doing the same and want to purchase from them, especially when you’re a company like Burger King who offers a more diverse menu than their competitors.…

The carnitas I get are usually topped with a salsa, while the masitas de puerco had onions covering it. My waiter Gilberto said that the Mexican food has “more spice”, such as peppers and salsas, than its Cuban counterpart. I could really tell this after eating my meal. Opposed to Mexican restaurants that I have been to the Cuban food was sweeter than the Mexican food and had very little spice to it. Along with the food being slightly different a huge difference is the restaurants atmosphere.…

The Tequila Grill has many dishes that are not spicy, but they also have spicy dishes for people who like spice. The chile relleno is one of the dishes I would recommend for people who like spice. It is a chile that is stuffed with cheese and is fried with spicy sauce on top. I would not recommend getting the American food but, they do include things on the menu like cheeseburgers, chicken wings, and pizza. The American food is not the same quality as the Mexican food they serve because, it is not their…

I would put Mexican restaurants in their own food group. I eat, pray, and live for Mexican food. It is to the point that my friends and family do not even need to ask me where I want to go for dinner; they know I will be okay with any Mexican restaurant. Two of my many favorites are Margarita House and Los Tres Amigos. You cannot go wrong with either restaurant, but there are a few factors that contribute good and bad to each one.…

Creed further explained that the other 12 percent was 5 percent water, 4 percent Mexican spices and 5 percent oats, caramelized yeast, citric acid and other ingredients (Crandall et al., 2014). Taco Bell is no newcomer to the food requirements or standards and policies on product labeling as it is the nation’s leading Mexican-style quick service restaurant chain that serves to its customers, tacos, burritos, signature quesadillas, Border Bowls, nachos and other specialty items. This restaurant’s concept is to incorporate a reduced-size restaurant with a limited menu, meant to emphasize volume (Roper et al., 2012). Nonetheless, while Taco Bell effectively explained their beef ingredients, much criticism has come from various stakeholders wanting to understand what the other 12 percent of the ingredients really are. In an effort to get ahead of the chatter regarding the scientifically crafted ingredients, Taco Bell said on its Web site that “the ingredients do have weird names but they’re all safe and approved by the FDA.” (Roper et al., 2012).…

Now no wonder people leave white castle with stomach problems. The hamburgers and fries are overtly greasy. The burgers (sliders) are small and meant to be eaten by the multiples, but sometimes we cannot even do that. The pros on the other hand are simplistic things, for example not only is white castle open 24/7, but it is inexpensive to the fact. The burgers are unique in size.…
