As we know, the culture and geography has a deep effect for each country. If the country wants to develop, it should own strong culture background and outstanding geography position. As the most famous and irreplaceable country in the world, Italy has famous culture and unique geography position. At first, we know the famous culture revolution, Renaissance, started at Italy. This revolution was a huge processing that made technology developing and changed people though. Many Italians got profits from this culture revolution. For example, some new navigation technologies made lots of merchants to expand their trade areas. Then, the economic was developed rapidly. So, Italy 's economic dependence on exports, and the ability is strong. But the geography also has some disadvantages. Because of a grave shortage of oil, gas and other raw materials, Italian need much imports. In addition to, the economic and financial crisis in recent years, Italy face the big crisis that is international market competition intensified; and this situation same with other developed countries. Many Italian export enterprises have been seriously breached. in short, Italy rely on the advantage of culture and geography to develop international trade since ancient. Although Italy has more unique advantages, the disadvantages still exist. In my idea, Italy has a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises and diversified products that conducive to enterprise in the international market to capture new business opportunities, even temporary small business opportunities. For opportunities, Italy is as rich in technology and entrepreneurship as it is in history and culture. The technology level is high in the world. If the companies invest in Italy, the companies will catch new technology to invocation their products. Also, the companies that want to expand international market awareness can invest in Italy, even in the world. In my idea, the brand awareness is important for every company. To invest in Italy, the company can improve its brand awareness. Furthermore, if companies invest overseas, all of the incomes belong to the company. Based on this situation, the companies reduced pressure of tax in the original country. However, foreign investment will bring much challenge for company. First, the companies expand the business in Italy not easy because of different culture. For example, the Italian people do businesses during lunch. Usually, they need 3 hours lunchtime. But, the US people eat fast food during lunch, then go back office do business. Also, the US people do businesses need sign the contracts that are official and professorial. For Italian, contracts are not necessary and official, more casual than the US people when they do business. Second, the managements’ style and culture are both big challenge.
