Human beings, as a collective group have evolved and grown up from the original ancient times where we had to hunt and gather our own food to survive and provide nutrients for ourselves to our current life, where getting food is as easy as picking up a phone and calling a number for them to deliver food for you. The fact that our society has evolved so much makes it so that we now require for an evolved diet plan for the entire human race that fits for our evolved species. All of the food options in today’s society are too much of a selection of variety for some individuals and they can’t make the correct health choices to stay fit while still staying nourished. The volumetric diet is an organized plan that is used to keep food intake the same as the selected person would normally eat, but change the types of food they would be eating. This complex plan supports the increase of high portion foods that have low calorie counts. The diet states that if you follow all the steps perfectly, it is a good way to lose 1 to 2 pounds in about a week. The diet can also be used as a steady weight loss as long as the individual sticks to the plan. Logically, this plan would be more beneficial to most consumers and followers of this plan because they would continue eating with their usual meal plan whether it be three meals or even six meals a day and they would still lose weight. Without depriving the individual from food or nutrients, this plan allows for maximum efficiency with little to no change on the daily …show more content…
The volumetric diet plan entails the slight change in your food consumption as well as at least 30 minutes of working out every day. The exercise that the individual does can range from a variety of activities from playing soccer to jogging around the neighborhood to swimming in a pool. This leeway of a variety allows the exercise not to affect the individual a lot because there are many easy ways to get this exercise such as parking a little further away in the parking lot so that your have to walk more or instead of taking the elevator or the escalator, once a week you could take the stairs. This exercise would make the individual healthier and they would lose the desired weight that the plan details for them
