The space age design became widely used for various products including cars, architectures and fashion. The building of the socond picture I chose was affected by “Googie” when it was built. This picture is the Monsato’s “House of tomorrow” in Disneyland, Califolnia. It was made entirely fiberglass, and it spread byond Disneyland. The space must have made people imagine the future that time because the space was an unexplored field. People could give full scope to their imagination in the future, and they created the future as they imagined it in disneyland. Monsato’s the house of tomorrow is the curvaceous, geometric building, and these are the features of this building. This architechture was used fiberglass, and it was the product of Monsato’s company. I guess many people get together in Disneyland once and now, and it must have been a good place to get attention of a lot of people. I think this archtecture was not only for just the attraction but also promotion of this company’s product. I think they must have attempted to sell their product by using futurelistic archtecture which was made wholly by fiberglass. At that time, since futurelistic archtectures were on the cutting edge, and people were new to all these futurelistic architectures, they could make highly impact on people.
