Planet interiors are warmer than outer space, so energy will flow outward from the interior toward the surface. There are many reasons studying other worlds could prove beneficial to society. First of all, further understanding of the Solar System could allow mankind to achieve a greater sense of perspective in regards to its place in the universe. Many of such facts can be found in a textbook, however the journey of discovering these wonders for one’s self through one’s own observations yields a much more enriching celestial education.
