Reflective Essay: The Personal Project

Superior Essays
The Personal Project is a requirement to pass the IB, MYP Grade 10 and enter IB program.
According to the IB: “The personal project is a significant body of work produced over an extended period. It is a product of your own initiative and should reflect your experience of the MYP. The personal project holds a very important place in the programme.” (MYP Personal Project)
This project is supposed to be based on your interests and reflect all the knowledge you have achieved in the MYP program. From my experience it comes with a lot of responsibility and work.
What you should actually do in the personal projects is up to you. You can either create something like a painting or a computer game, or you can learn a new skill like horse riding. To

I asked Ms. Dittrich, the performing arts teacher, about the most efficient way to record my music piece without any background noise. She recommended me using an electronic recording program and to make sure there were no background noises while I was playing.

I am hopping that the children really act on what they said and remember it until the end of their lives. They will be the future generation on earth and as junk food production had increased it is really important to choose the healthy food rather than the unhealthy and have a good impact on their selves. Just like my chosen Global Context is related to the impact of decision making in human kind.

Successes of the product against the criteria
My final product, which was the Multimedia, was made based on some criteria that I designed to follow. In my opinion the product was done fairly well. There were some minor parts, which I could have improved, but over all I am confident on it.
The first thing that I would have liked to be done better is the music. I think the music I have composed is more suitable for adults and is not very interesting for children. The other piece of information I would like to add to my product is what will actually happen inside the body in terms of biology if we eat healthy or unhealthy food, but I was afraid I would go over the time limit mentioned in the successes criteria.
I think succeeded in achieving my goal because in my questionnaire the questions I asked after the presentation

In conclusion, based on the recommendations I have listed above and the utilization of Project Management Techniques, I believe this project reasonably able to achieving its intended goals. These same techniques can be developed into the organizations culture for future projects and employed to make current processes more efficient. Should it become necessary to employ a project manager on future projects, I recommend hiring a PM who has worked previously on the type of project under consideration. This project manager will bring their unique skill set to the organization.…

Rube Goldberg and Beyond The objective of this essay is to ask a question that you would like to answer as part of the scholarship application. None of them seemed appealing to me, and I thought about what to do, I had so many ideas of what to do and found the one that best suited me which was to create a video game and have people play it around the world. I knew video games from the back of my mind so to create my very own video game and have people play it would be outstanding. Although it did have a flaw, I had no experience in making video games. I had a general idea of what to do but not enough to get me far.…
