Pentacle is different from Pentagram and its meaning should be understood clearly to make use of it within a ritual.
-Pentacle is a five pointed star within a circle. However unlike Pentagram, a Pentacle can be customized as per the Witch’s choice based on which energies she wants to call upon. A Pentacle symbolizes our place in the Universe
- Penta means five (5). Cle in Pentacle represents the idea of being within something. Traditionally this is a circle however it can be a triangle or a square even.
-Pentacle represents embodiment of a ritual. Pointed up means that 5 elements of a circle are within protection. Pinted down in a Pentacle represents the Horned God. Pentacle also represents man’s intellect and reason.

It represents the embodiment of ritual and pointed up shows the 5 elements in a circle of protection and pointed down it shows Horned God. I was very wary of Horned God earlier because of the Christian portrayal however when I read further about him, that was eye opening.
- I am very drawn to the Pentacle of Solomon, atleast as far as the philosophy it represents. According to my research, Pentacle Of Solomon is the actual Magicians’ pentacle which represents Divine energy.
- Pentacle can represent Christ’s wound, the five senses, God and four elements, or five points of man outstretched- his legs, arms and head.

This can be done to call upon a specific energy for ceremonial magic or magical work. They can be God, Angel, Demon or Spirit.
-I will be using it to communicate with my guardian angels and other angels. I have read books of Brian Weiss (who brought the concept of past life regression to the modern world) and thus if possible I would like to communicate with the masters or the positive spirits belonging to higher realms of consciousness. I don’t know about God if contacting him/her/it is really possible.
- I will be personalizing the Pentacle with Amethyst because it is used to psychic powers and mental clarity. Also my pentacle, I would prefer it crafted out of Silver or Wood.
- I am Leo so if possible I would use my birth symbol and stone too.
-I also believe in th universality of Pentacle across many faiths and its sacredness. During rituals/ceremonies/magickal workings Pentacle can be used. For evoking spirits, spirit guides, goddesses Pentacle is a very powerful symbol that can be used.
-Pentacle is also a symbol of Protection and is useful while guarding oneself against negative energies/Spirits.
Pentacle is very important to know and its use and association is very sacred to many

There are many early Christian symbols, that we get to see even now in a modern day world. One of the most popular symbols, that I am aware of seeing on people‘ s cars are the fish, anchor, or the cross. The fish is probably the earliest Christian symbol that means “Ichthus“ in Greek. The symbol of fish was first used by the people of the sea as a symbol of a familiar deity - Jesus Christ. Today, the symbol serves as a sign between fellow Christians to identify and acknowledge each other.…
