I am a big advocate for great professional developments. I have found that the best principals are those that help you find trainings in areas where you need to grow. After training, one comes back inspired and with new ideas. As a principal, I would focus on outside trainings, but also checking in with teachers to make sure that what they have learned is used in the classroom. Overall, I am glad I have learned about these standards. I was not aware of these standards. I would make an effort to focus on a few at a time and set personal goals to become well-rounded in each one of the standards. I know I can be good at the standards, but I would use my resources as well as a great leadership team to help me make sure that each standard is met. I am very open about asking for help when I need it, and as a leader I would do the same to show others that I am not the only one with all the answers and that I am always looking to
