“We wish you a Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year!” The special time of the year is slowly approaching. What a better way to celebrate “the best time of the year” than by attending the annual Hopeful Christmas Party. The Hopeful Christmas Party is an organization which assists the needy people within the community by giving them an opportunity to eat food and giving them gifts. It is an all-day event that has intriguing activities, delicious food, and more. The Hopeful Christmas Party will be open for the whole community to attend, in addition to all the poverty-stricken individuals and families. The Hopeful Christmas Party is a great organization because it helps the community unite, assists those in need, and gets the local businesses …show more content…
Some people in the community cannot afford Christmas presents, or even Christmas dinner. While there is always an opportunity for the children to “Shop with a Cop,” parents should be able to receive gifts too. The Switcharoo event at the Hopeful Christmas Party is a great opportunity to make the parents happy by letting them choose ten gifts for free. They can even trade in some of their used goods as well. The needy children and parents alike are also welcome to participate in all the other events the Hopeful Christmas Party offers. This Christmas miracle party will ultimately be an event these people will look forward to every …show more content…
The venue might be outside of the main part of the community, but it is a large enough space to host the party at safely. Hope Baptist Church and Academy is a large, well spread out location with plenty of room for all the events. If the Christmas party was located at the high school, for example, all the events would be crammed together instead of uniformly spread out. As for the complaints of the location being a church, Christmas is a Christian holiday. Therefore, Hope Baptist Church is the perfect location to celebrate Christmas. Not only does it have a sanctuary where the telling of the Christmas story could take place, but it also has a large fellowship hall where the Switcharoo will occur. Hope Baptist Church is also right next to another community, and could invite people from that community to come to the party as well. The Hopeful Christmas Party is an event people will never forget. This party could not only touch needy people’s hearts, but also the whole community. This Christmas Party will make the whole community stand as one. The Hopeful Christmas Party has the potential to become a larger event with several communities involved. Imagine people from several different communities socializing and celebrating the holidays united. The Hopeful Christmas Party would create long-lasting friendships and bring joy
