Introduction
I. The US Food and Drug Administration (nd) stated that a healthy diet is one component that provides enough essential nutrients, contains a variety of foods from all the basic food groups, providing sufficient energy to maintain a healthy weight, and contains no fat, sugar, salt and alcohol.
II. Nutrient are essentials for the normal functioning of the human body. There are six essential nutrients including protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins, mineral and water.
III. Essential nutrients cannot be synthesis within the cell and must be present in the food. Therefore, the individual should take the right food to get the enough nutrient.
IV. From the research, most people like to consume the supplements as additional food to satisfy

Nowadays, most of malaysian are tend to buy supplements for both internal and external beauty instead of take a good care of their healthy eating rutine.
A. Some of supplement which is taken in a dosage that exceed the recommended dietary intake can cause adverse side effects that may lead to a long terms disease
1. For example, consuming excessive amount of Vitamin A in supplement form may cause liver damage, headaches, reduced the bone strength and birth defect.
a. According to Crawford (2015), large dose of certain vitamins and minerals can cause nausea, vomiting, nerve damage, weight loss, muscle weakness and other illness.
b. Futhermore, the supplements can also intereract with medication which can cause unwanted side effects and decrease the efficiency of the medicine.
2. Nothing can replaces the nutrients that are found in the foods because supplements are just a dietary supplements and it not food substitutes.
a. As we already know that people who eat a nutritious diet did not usually need to take supplements but only initially supplementation was encouraged for people who had some kind of nutrient deficiency such as the individual that nis found in osteoporosis, anemia or beriberi.

b. For example, let say the individual would like consume the beauty supplement. The range price for the skin care supplements are from RM 27 to RM 190. It is only the price for skin care and how about the individual that consumer more than one supplements.
(i) That individual will at least spend RM 500 a month to buy the supplements that they needs.
(ii) Besides, the individual will pay a premium price for those supplements, however it may not be worthwhile because as stated in ConsumerLab.com (n.d.), they has found lead contamination in some whole food and greens products.

II. There are some initiatives that can be taken to solve the problem which is eat nutritious meals instead of consume a supplement. There are many benefits of eat nutrious foods.
A. One of the benefits is each of the food already have their own nutrients. So, it is unnecessary for the individual to consume the supplements because many nutrients can be absorb by our body through the food that we take daily as stated by Orac (2013), the individual did not need the vitamin supplementation if they are well rounded
