Most children that grow up without their fathers have a rather tough time growing up. Mothers tend to have to work double than a standard parent would have to work because they do not have the benefit of having two people carrying an income. When this happens the children tend to be less supervised and are not told the “rights and wrongs” that a fully supervised child would be taught. The mother that is in this unfortunate situation is also extremely exhausted that they do not have the energy to have that stern roll in the child’s life. Some fortunate children are blessed to have a Grandfather take this roll. This figure whether it is the actual father or another respectable person in a child’s life should be there to listen to their child if they need someone to listen to them. Children sometimes want to just vent about their day, just like adults they need to have some release and understand not to hold their motions in. They don’t just stand around and bark orders; they give advice and lead their children on a path to success. They handle situations as the come such as if a child was starting to walk down a path that could destroy their lives. This leader in the family must be firm but also must have the caring side to them as well. This person must also have a fun side to them so they can cheer up the children when they need to be cheered up. The father must have a goal for their children to exceed their own personal success and teach them how to achieve those
