Whether you are looking for one at school or at the mall, it is always more difficult than it should be unless you like walking and park in the back voluntarily. You do not want to be too far because that means more walking and walking is something that you do a lot of at the U of A. Commuters have to worry about where to park because they have to think about how much they are willing to pay for a parking pass. Is it worth paying $600-$800 to park in a parking garage and not have to take a bus? For some, the answer is yes but others are like me and prefer to pay $60-$90 to park in a general area and then take the bus. Those who live on campus have this problem too but they do not have to worry about how early they have to get up just to have time to drive to class. When they say that the early bird gets the worm, they are not lying. Those who get the best parking spot are those who have early classes. I also interviewed my friend Braeden Hess, who commutes the University of Arkansas every day, I asked him how he manages to get a good parking spot and he said “easy, just take early classes. Nobody likes to wake up early so you have that one advantage.” He is not wrong because my earliest class is at 7:30 A.M. and I always get a great parking spot because the lot is not full like it would be at a later time.
